(Received September 16, at 11.30 a.m.) The lists in connection with the new issue of Government of Australia 33' per cent, registered stock 1918-53 at the rate of £9B per cent, for cash applications, opened this morning and closed at 10.20 a.m. The amount of the new conversion loan is £10,951,226. • The Times ’ says that the operation was assured of success, even though the great change for the belter in tho iinaneial and economic position of the Commonwealth during the last two years is hardly yet fully realised.
