NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER MAKING A PROPOSED BY-LAW, PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dunedin City Council, at a special meeting convened for the purpose hold on Wednesday, the 30lh day of August, 1933, passed thA undernoted Resolution making a proposed By-law to be known as “ The Dunedin City By-law No. 2-1, 1933.” ’The Resolution is as follows: — “ That the Council of the City of Dunedin hereby resolves that the proposed By-law, submitted herewith, to be known as ‘ The Dunedin City By-law No. 24, 1933,” extending By-law No. 1 of the City of Dunedin, for the purpose of making regulations governing the licensing of persons to trade in the streets, bo and the same is hereby adopted as a By-law, and it is further resolved that this resolution bo submitted to an ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on Wednesday, the 27th day of September, 1933, for confirmation as a Special Order, to which meeting the said proposed By'-law shall also be submitted for confirmation.” The object and purport of the said Bylaw is to make regulations for the purpose of controlling and regulating the selling of articles and goods m the City streets, for tbo licensing of persons desirous of engaging in such sales and fixing the minimum age at which such person shall bo eligible to bo licensed. A copy' of the said proposed By-law is deposited at tho Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, Octagon, Dunedin, where it is open for public inspection, and may bo seen by any person during ordinary office hours—viz., from 9 o’clock a.-m. to 5 o’clock p.m. on Mondays to Fridays, inclusive and on Saturdays from 9 o'clock a.m. to noon. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that tho aforesaid Resolution will bo submitted to an ordinary meeting of tho City Council to be held at tho Council Chambers, Town Hall, on WEDNESDAY', the 271 h day of September, 1933, at 7.30 o’clock pm., for confirmation as a special order, to which meeting tho said proposed By-law shall also bo submitted lor confirmation.
