(Received September 7, at 11 a.m.) A wind and rain storm, lasting several hours, caused suspension of the traffic at one period. Wirth’s Circus suffered badly. A large marquee was ripped to ribbons and the menagerie was flattened. The velocity of the .vind reached sixty-two miles per hour.
