SLEEP-WALKER’S FATE
FALL OVER CLIFF [l’m. United I'arts Association.] AUCKLAND, August 11. Presumed ro have walked in his sleep last night, a resident of Waiwera, Air Albert Cook, aged sixty-five, fell from tho cliffs near the fop of Waiwera Hill to the rocks below, and was cither killed or drowned. As Air Cook was in the habit of walking m his sleep, the door of the house was locked each night and the key bidden. Apparently, ho rose at some time during tho night, dressed, and found the key. He then let himself out, and evidently fell over the high cliffs close to the house. As be was barefooted, the other members of tho family wore not awakened. When the family rose this morning his absence was noticed immediately, and a search party was organised, but the body was not found until o’clock this afternoon about half a mile from the scene of the accident. The deceased leaves a wife and an adult family.
