LEAGUE OF NATIONS
ASSEMBLY MEETING POSTPONED (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, July 19. The annual meeting of the League Assembly, which was due to begin on September 4, has been postponed until September 25. The secretariat decided on this step after consultations with the Governments concerned, partly because of the continuation of the Economic Conference until July 27, and partly to give time for the development of negotiations upon which the president of the Disarmament Conference (Mr Arthur Henderson) is engaged.
The League Council will meet on September 22.
