CHILD KILLED. Francis Goddard, aged three years, was knocked down by a motor cycle in Wellington yesterday afternoon.- Ha died from head injuries an hour later. FATAL KICK FROM A HORSE. As the result of a kick from a hors* Robert Oliver Smith, a well-known settler of Earlyhurst, Bideford, lost hi a life yesterday. The body was found down a steep bank, where it had been dragged by the horse, the deceased' having become entangled in a rope.—. Mastcrton Press Association. KNOCKED DOWN BY HORSE. Francis Twist, aged fourteen, residing at St, Joseph’s Orphanage, Waverley, was knocked down by a horse yesterday, fracturing his right arm. He was removed to the hospital at 6.30 p.m.
