The customs authorities have been set a problem over the fish cargo brought from Nexv /calami waters by the trawler Alfic Cam. Iho vessel, which is owned in Australia, called at Mannkau to land a man for medical treatment. Having thus touched New /calami the point is xvhqthcr the fish in her holds, which consist largely of Now /calami varieties, will he subject to 10 per cent, primage duty. Customs officers hoarded the trawler and sent a report to Canberra, hut the general opinion is that the duty will not he imposed.
