SYDNEY, January 24. The death is announced of Signor Antonio Folli; aged 47. He was manager and interpreter of grand opera companies, and recently returned from New Zealand.

■ MONTREAL, January 23. Senator James Bureau, who was formerly a Minister of Customs and Excise in the Cabinet of Mr Mackenzie King, died to-day; aged 72.

The death is announced of the Earl of Chesterfield, whose mansion, “ Holmlftcy,” was sold to Sir Hugh Lucas-Tooth.
