In a speech on Monday night, tho Prime Alinistcr (Air R. B. Bennett) told the Board of Trade that unless something unforsecn happens, Canada cannot and dare not inflate her currency.” Canada’s production of gold and now wealth had permitted her to meet every obligation according to her contracts. Air Bonnott said that the British delegation to tho coming International Conference would deal with tho problem of the stabilisation of exchanges. He predicted a new method of stabilising securities. At the coming session there would be some standard of like value, so that the money of Australia and Norway would be similar. This was inevitable.
