DEMONSTRATION IN COLOGNE CLASH WITH POLICE Press Association-By Telegraph-Copyright LONDON, January 24. (Received January 25, at 9 a.m.) The Cologne correspondent of ‘ The Times ’ says that three Communists were killed when the police scattered a procession of 800 Communists marching through Cologne, shouting invective against the Government. They started stoning the police, who were compelled to fire in self-defence. The Communists later reassembled in the centre of Cologne, where, after sotting fire to a tram, they launched another stone attack and tko police were again compelled to tiro, seriously wounding four. Several of the police wore also injured. All political demonstrations are prohibited until further notice.
