Approximately 7,330 bales were sold. There was good home and Continental competition at full rates. Merinos, greasy—Now South Wales, “ Goonoogoonoo,” top 13d, average ll|d; Victorian, “ Ballantrie,” 11-jd and 12-id; South Australian, “ Gambier Clover,” and lid; Queensland, “ Cambridge Downs,” 11 Jd and 10§d; scoured ditto, 18.U1. New Zealand greasy cross-bred, “ Kawa,” lOd and 7|d; scoured merino, “ Bendigo,” 18Jd and IGJd.
