—Vice-Regal.— The Governor-General (Lord Bledisloe) and Lady Bledisloe, who have been the guests of Mr W. Kinross White, of Oamaranu, performed the last of their official duties at the opening of Franco House yesterday morning (states a Press Association telegram from Napier), and later proceeded to Tuuanu, where they will be the guests of Sir Andrew Russell for a few days.They will then proceed to Dannevirka for a night, and thence to the Wairarapa district. Mr and Mrs J. L. Tattersall, of ManChester (England), who have been visiting the Lakes district, travelled north by the first express to-day. Sir Tattersall is prominent in the cotton industry, and is president of the Lancashire and Cheshire Band of Hope Union and chairman of the National Commercial Temperance League. He has been a member of Parliament. Mr Brendan P.
