Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.

LONDON, January 23

(Received January 24, at 11 a.m.) The bus strike in London is collapsing. The men in several garages are returning unconditionally.

MORE MEN RETURNING,

(British Official Wireless.)

RUGBY, January 23

(Received January 24, at noon.)

The bus strike was called as a protest against the new agreed work schedules. The men’s union repudiated the strike as a breach of the agreement because it ignored the conciliation machinery. About 25 per cent, of the strikers resumed work this morning, and some hundreds of those still out returned to duty during the day. It is expected that most of the remainder will report to-night.

RESUMING AT MIDNIGHT,

LONDON, January 23. (Received January 24, at 1.5 p.m.) The bus strike has ended. The men are resuming at midnight.
