PUSHING THE WHALING INDUSTRY
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.
LONDON, January 23. (Received January 24, at 11 a.m.) Sir Douglas Mawson is busily engaged in disposing of the remainder of his Antarctic expedition equipment and is arranging for the sale of the film rights. Ho is also hopeful that the negotiations now being conducted will lead Australia into the way of obtaining a foothold in the Antarctic to exploit the whaling and other rich assets which foreign nations are rapidly developing.
