JEWELLERY “BLUES”
Blue being a fashionable colour, jewellery naturally follows suit, and consequently blue-coloured gems aro very popular. Sapphires aro one of tho most favoured of the blue gems. _ A perfect solitaire is fashion’s choice in rings, with perhaps a few diamonds on each side of the principal stone. Aquamarines look especially lovely when mounted as a single stone ring. Lapis lazuli, another blue stone, is used in many different ways; an exquisite toilet set of lapis lazuli is inlaid with gold. Turquoise, is popular for liny necklaces for children.
