Spinks, who made the flight from Christchurch on the morning of the 16th inst. in a Gipsy Moth piloted by Captain Mercer, of the Canterbury Aero Club. Making the White Star her headquarters, this Harrogate visitor was taken next morning on a sight-seeing flight over the chain of the great southern lakes and westward to the coast, circling over Milford Sound, the terminal of the farfamed “ finest walk in the world.”
