TO 7'HI EDITOR. Sir, —The above lady, ono of the greatest artists, if not the greatest, of modem times, makes it dear to your readers why this intense interest in Anglo-Gatholicism. Is it to strengthen the Protestant Church of England or is it to merge the Protestant Church inter the Roman Church? Many readers of the ‘ Star ’ are wondering what the activities of the Anglo-Catholics really are. Perhaps Dame Thorndike can enlighten us.—l am, etc., Protestant Episcopalian. January 21.
