OVERSTAYED TIME LIMIT
LONE VOYAGER DETAINED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SAN PEDRO (California), Jan. 18. Fred Rebell, who arrived here two weeks ago after having sailed tho 18ft sloop Elaine across the Pacific from Australia alone, was detained to-day by immigration officials on a charge of having overstayed the time limit of sixty clays provided in his seamen’s passport issued at Honolulu on November 4.
