MR DE VALERA'S CAMPAIGN POLICY OF COMPLETE INDEPENDENCE Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 18. The Dublin correspondent of ‘ The Times ’ says that for the first time in the election campaign, Mr Do Valera has declared his, policy on,the issue of separation. Speaking at Cahir, he announced that he was determined to ask for Ireland’s complete independence, politically and economically. . Mr Frank Aitken, Minister for Defence, was even more explicit. “ Ireland will be an independent republic when you come again,” he is-reported to have told the Dublin correspondent of a Paris journal.' adding; ■ “ That is the wjll of tho Irish people, which will he expressed at the election on January 24.”
