YOUNG AUSTRALIA LEAGUE BAND

The Boys’ Band will arrive in Dunedin on February 1 at 4.18 p.m., and will be escorted to the Y.M.C.A. by the Waverley Boys’ Band, whence they will proceed to Aheir billets. No less than twenty members of the hand are under twelve years of age, and those who have heard them in New Zealand say tlieif playing is a revelation. The net proceeds of the tour are to be devoted to charitable purposes, and in Dunedin will be presented to the mayor’s fund’ for the relief of unemployment. - • Throughout New Zealand these hoys, who are selected as emissaries of friendship between our two countries, have been billeted by citizens. Already many, offers have been made by residents to act as hosts for the boys during their week’s stay. Those wishing to help in the matter are asked to ring or see Mr Don Miller, general secretary of the Y.M.C.A.. who is arranging billeting arrangements, or Mr A. A. Paape (at the Grand Hotel), who will forward applications on to the Y.M.C.A.
