SYDNEY, December 14. The Stock Exchange is still inactive, with prices edging downwards and rather more sellers than’buyers, which is characteristic of the year-end dullness. Commonwealth Bonds were two to six points weaker to-day, and bank shares were not traded in. The following sales were made:— Colonial Sugar, £sl ss; British Tobacco, 32s 4Jd ; Tooths, 34s 4Jd; Millaquin Sugar, 27s 6d; Dunlop Perdiatt (pref.), 32s lid; Mount Lyoll, 21s 6d ; North Broken. Hill (ex. div.), 69s 3d; South Broken Hill, 45s 6d. MELBOURNE, December 14. Commercial Bank of Australia, 15s 6d ; Dunlop Perdriau (pref.), 32s Cd; Electrolytic Einc (pref.), 32s 6d ; Goldsbrough, Mort, 245; Herald and Times, 56s 3d: Mount Lyell, 21s Cd; North Brokn Hill, 70s; Souths, 465.
