TOWN V. COUNTRY
The annual Town v. Country match was commenced at Wellington yesterday. Country batted first and made the big total of 435 (Cameron 61, Massey 60, Morris 57, Hayward 82, Freeman not out 76). Crook took three wickets for 67 and Griffiths three for 93. Town had scored 12 without loss at the drawing of stumps.
