TOWN V. COUNTRY [Pan United Pkbss Association.] WELLINGTON, December 14. The annual Town v. Country match was commenced at the Basin Reserve to-day in fine weather. The ground and wicket were in good order. There were two changes in the country team, Hayward (Rangitikei) and Freeman (Nelson) replacing M'Girr and O’Brien. The country side won the toss and batted. At lunch the score was 122 for two wickets (Bullock-Douglas 8, Cameron 61, Massey not out 47, Mete Kingi not out 2, extras 4). WAITAKI HIGH V. SOUTHLAND HIGH SCHOOL [Fn Uirrras Fun Amociatiox.) INVERCARGILL, December 14. In the match against Waitaki High School Southland High School was dismissed for 162, the principal scorers beUttley 42, Mackrell 30, Stewart 25. Dick took four- wickets for 35 and Smith four for 53. Southland followed on. '
