WAITAKI HIGH V. SOUTHLAND BOYS' SCHOOL
[Per United Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, December 13. The match between the Waitaki and Southland Boys’ High Schools was commenced to-day in fine weather, and will be concluded to-morrow. Waitaki batted first and made 318 (Paape 124, M‘Arthur 49, Smith 37, Kerr 27, Watson 21). Bowling for. Southland Uttley took three for 104 and Warburton four for 99. Southland had lost three wickets for 29 (Carswell 15 not out) when stumps were drawn.
