(Received December 14, at 12.5 p.m.) Leading florists, discovering that customers had no money for floral gifts owing to the economic crisis, have instead evolved vegetable posies consisting of choice carrots, turnips, onions, and other vegetables, displayed in bright tufts of salad leaves. The men find that their lady friends prefer these, and enterprising florists have been accordingly rewarded for their enterprise.
