DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE At - the call ov£r of • the Dunedin Stock Exchange this morning Bank of New Zealands were ■ available at the reduced price of. £2 Is 9d, but there was no mauiry for. them.- E.S. and A. Banks were also slightly easier, £4 4s being asked without ;any buyer, offering. A buyer of Nationals of New Zealand came on the market at £3 3s, but no sellers responded. Unions were obtainable at £7 2s 6d, without any inquiry. , , , South British Insurances were wanted at £2 11s, but they were not obtainable. The inquiry for Kaitangata Coals dropped to par' this ; morning, and no shares were offered. Preference Westport-Stocktons came on’ the market at Is 6d, but there was no inquiry for them. The best seller of Goldsbrough, Mprts asked £1 2s, but the shares were not wanted; The “B ” issue was wanted at 14s, but no seller would take less than 18s 6d. A £arcel of Kauri Timbers was for sale at 5s . 6d, without eliciting 'response. N.Z. Drugs were for sale, at £2 18s, but 'they were ■ not wanted. N.Z. Paper Mills had a wider market, buyers offering £l, and sellers asking £1 Is 3d. . • ■ , N.Z. Breweries ■ were m demand at i<l Es, with sellers one shilling away. ■ Mount Byells. were on the market at £l, and Broken Hill Souths were wanted .at £1 19s cum dividend. There was a closer market for -Okaritos, 8s Id being offered for them and 8s 4d asked. Alexander Mines were obtainable at £1 2s 6d, but they were not wanted.
