At the Victorian lawn tennis championships in the doubles final Vines and Gledhill beat Allison, and Van Ryn, 10-8, 6-4, 7-5. . In tlie women’s singles Dliss J. Hartigan defeated Dlrs Buttsworth, 6-4, 6-8. 6-4. - ■ The mixed doubles final was won by Allison and Dlrs Van Ryn, who defeated Crawford and Dlrs Crawford, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.
