OPENING RATES MAINTAINED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, October 12. (Received October 13, at 1 p.m.) At the wool sales 7,933 bales were offered, including 3,170 from New Zealand. About 3,771 bales were sold. There was good Yorkshire and Continental competition, and the opening rates were (irmly maintained. New Zealand greasy cross-bred “ DC./D,” 7Jd; half-bred lambs’ stipes, “ Waitaki,” 123 d. These are the only prices given.
