The Leith Harrier and Amateur Athletic Club held its annual wind-up dance and presentation of prizes at the Otago Motor Club’s rooms last night. The attendance was good, and excellent music was contributed by Mr D. Nowlands and his orchestra. The president of the club (Mr A. J. Dryden) conducted the presentation of prizes, and, taking the opportunity of congratulating the club during the past season, wished it every success for the future. Mr Dryden, who is retiring from office, was presented with a small gift as an appreciation of his services during his term of office of six years as president of the club. Markham ; First broad jump handicap, first high jump handicap, second hop, step, and jump, second 220yds. S. Anderson : First five-mile championship, first mile handicap. S.
