THE AUSTRALIAN DELEGATE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, September 28. A leading Communist who intended to visit the “ Red ” congress, which is to be held at Berlin next month, was prevented at the eleventh hour by Customs officers and detectives, who attended at the ship’s side and demanded his passport, and ordered him not to embark. This action was taken at the instance of the Commonwealth Government.
