[Pm United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 29. New regulations permitting alternative apportionment of dividends are expected to be finally approved by the Racing Conference Executive to-mor-row, and it is understood that both the Napier Park and Kurow Clubs will apply them on Saturday. The regulations, which are optional with the old, provide for three dividends where there are nine totalisator numbers in the proportion of 70, 20, and 10 per cent.; two dividends where there are over four and less than nine totalisator numbers in the proportion of 75 and 25 per cent.; and one dividend where there are only four or fewer numbers. Each club must decide before its meeting what system will apply, and must adhere to one method throughout the meeting.
