ASSASSINATIONS IN CUBA
WAVE OF POLITICAL GRIME PRESIDENT OF SENATE KILLED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright HAVANA (Cuba), September 27. (Received September 28, at 12.55 p.m.) A wave, of political assassinations and attempted assassinations swept Havana on Tuesday afternoon, when Clemento Vasquez Ballo, President of the Senate, was killed, and three members of the opposition party were also reported slain. One man, also an oppositionist, was shot four times. He is not expected to recover.
