OUTBREAK IN WEST HAM NINE ARRESTS MADE Tress Association—By Telegraph-Copyright LONDON. September 27. (Received September 28, at I p.m.) The unemployed rioted and stoned the police outside the Stratford Town Hall while the West Ham Council was receiving a deputation protesting against the cuts in poor law relief. Four policemen were nif. Nine arrests were made. The council told the deputation that it could not restore the cuts, but promised that all reported cases of hardship would be specially considered.
