BELLEKNOWES MEDAL HANDICAP F. Olsen won the Belleknowes Golf Club’s medal handicap with 7G—14—62. Other good scores were D. Gollan, 76*-11—65; S. Roberts, 84—16—68; E. Nees, 90—22—68. ST. GLAIR CLUB COMPETITION Following was the result of the semifinals in the St. Clair Golf Club’s knock-out competition:—S. M. Satterthwaite beat B. C. O’Driscoll, 1 up at the nineteenth; C. B. Wight beat J. A. Templeton, 2 up and 1 to play. OTAGO CLUB A Hag match was played on Bahnacewen [.inks, when the competition was divided into seniors and juniors. The senior event was won by I. Carr ? who, after completing the round, which he did in 79, had four strokes left to play, which enabled him to plant the flag near the hole on the nineteenth green. In the junior event .1. W. Walls proved the winner. R. Elliott, who was in the first pair that started, carried the flag to the edge of tho nineteenth green, where it remained throughout the afternoon, until Walls, who was one of the last to start, carried it on to the nineteenth hole.
