INCREASING EMPLOYMENT
AMERICAN SCHEME ADOPTED BY BUSINESS MEN. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, WASHINGTON, August 26. Business men of the United States adopted a six-point plan to make new, jobs after hearing President Hoover, say: “ The major financial crisis is overcome. ” The plan is to increase einployment on the railroads and the stimulation' of industry through the expansion of maintenance and equipment, and the purchase of new equipment for industries to replace obsolete,- « worn-out equipment, work-sharing, repair, and home building- A liint is given that they may shorten the hours of labour.
