FRINGE PEDRO WINS BIG HANDICAP DOUBLE TO PEGAWAY The Auckland Trotting Club’s August Meeting was held under excellent weather condiitons, and the going was good. Win Huon was the early loader from Moko Bells and Moko Girl, but broke badly round the back, allowing Moko 'Bells to win easily. Mattie Herbilwyn was fourth. Little Guy took command half a mflo from homo from Master Huia, Real Girl, and Direct Morning, holding the lead easily to win from Direct Morning, which just displaced Real Girl. Times: 2min 49 2-ssec, 2min 51 4-ssec, 2min 52 l-ssec. The winner was nicely placed all the way, leading into the straight from Nathaniel and Jersey Thorpe. Cleao finished fast to take second place from Nathaniel and Jersey Thorpe, which was fourth.
