The Commonwealth Federation of tho Fanner-Labour Socialist Party came into existence to-day at a session of the western conference of the Labour and Farmers’ political parties. The purpose of tho new body is the establishment in Canada of a co-op-erative commonwealth in which production, distribution, and exchange will bo regulated to supply human needs, and not for profit.
