The decision to reinstate the St. Leo’er Stakes with a stake of £250 was made. at the monthly meeting of the Wellington Racing Club’s Committee. This means that continuity of the classic will not now be broken, as seemed a possibility when no nominations were called for the 1934 St. Leger in June. Entries will be accepted tor the 1934 St. Leger during the next few weeks. , , ~ The committee also approved of the proposal to provide 10s windows, as well as £1 and £5 windows, in the mam totalisator building at Trentham.
