‘ Everylady’s ’ forj June will prove a very welcome magazine at present, when everyone is knitting. It is an extra special knitting number, and provides many delightful patterns, including a very unusual and smart sweater, a child’s cardigan and sweater, and a dainty bed jacket. The fashion section is also very good, while the short story section, household hints, etc., are up to the usual high standard.
‘ The Home,’ published by ‘ Art in Australia,’ is a very attractive magazine this month. The photographic section, which is always excellent, contains younger set photographs from every State in Australia, and shows a bevy of beautiful girls. An interesting article on Lady Chaytor by Gwen Spencer, with a charming photograph, is included. The gardening and cooking sections are always full of interest, and this month are particularly good. The rest of the reading matter is of an unusual and interesting kind. The journal is well printed on good paper, the cover being one of the most attractive features.
