THE EGYPT’S TREASURE
SEARCH FOR BULLION SALVAGE OPERATIONS' Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, May 30. Divers mi board the Artiglio have restarted salvaging the Egypt’s bullion. They have removed nearly the whole of the roof of the bullion room, and have begun to bring the contents to the surface. No gold or silver has yet been recovered, as the boxes of bullion are covered by broken wood and other debris, but a diver caught the first glimpse of tbo boxes piled in tiers inside the room. As the bullion room is between the baggage rooms under the first class saloon the divers’ grab is raising a curious assortment of lost property, including a rusty, broken cashbos containing a dozen mixed coins, a loaded Mauser automatic pistol, a set of golf clubs, a battered silver sauce boat, and a pair of grey woollen socks.—London ‘ Times ’ Cable.
