There was ; fair attendance of members at the Aly meeting of the Northeast Valley A.C.T.U. Miss A. Gry (president) was iu the chair. After r devotional exercises and correspondeuci, the Rev. Mr Dallaston gave an inte:)sting address on ‘ Solomon's Vision,{taking the verso in which he spoke of Gjd’s answer to his prayer giving him vfalom and understanding greater than iny other who had lived before him <[ who might live after him. He spue of the <3,000 proverbs written by SJomon; also of his grea t wealth; of Is wonderful character, temporal and piritual. With all these qualities, his aart was full of love and sympathy. A hearty v:c of thanks was passed to the lecturd.
An invitatin was received from the “ Y’s ” to athid their meeting in the Bible class rim of First Church on June 13. j It was alsopotified that an address would be grin by the Rev. Lionel Fletcher, in ie Presbyterian Church, for women, ojJune 9. Folders advising of this wio handed round for distribution by pmbers in various parts of the Valley] A special attraction of this meeting i that the mothers’ choir will lead the Jging.
Miss Gray eminded members that next meeting vould be " White Ribbon ” clay, a 1 asked them to bring extracts from mt, paper (of any date) to bo read at io meeting.
