Plants grown for adorning the Royal Parks in London include 50,000 geraniums, 20,000 pansies, 15,000 stocks, and 10.000 antirrhinums. They are raised in glasshouses covering five acres in Hyde Park. Many of the Inigo slabs of stone, each weighing several tons, erected at Stonehenge by the Britons of nearly 4.000 years ago, are believed to have been brought 160 miles across wild country from Wales.
