OTAGO ASSOCIATION The weekly meeting of the executive of the Otago Ladies’ Hockey Association was held last evening. Present— Mrs G. A. Nelson (chairwoman), Mrs Sonntag, Misses Adams, Kingston, Mullenger. Sargeant, and Hill. , An application from the ? n }T erslt ? Club for the use of the North Ground for practice at 7.15 on Thursday mornings was granted. A transfer was granted to M IS ? vCameron from Momona Club to Technical Old Girls’ Club. . , , The Albany Men’s Hockey Club wrote asking permission to play a match against Oamaru on June 3 on Logan Park. —Permission granted. • A letter was received from the town clerk asking the association to take out a comprehensive cover in order to protect the corporation against claims tor 'damage to windows and property in the adjoining streets of the Oval and North Ground, and also for any injury by a hockey ball to any person being on these reserves or in the vicinity thereof. Re Logan Park grounds, it was decided that another set of nets be purchased for the third ground. The attention of the executive was drawn to the matter of starting time for matches, and it was decided that all players be notified that matches timed to start at 1.30 and 3 respectively ■would in future commence sharp to time. . , The following were appointed a lostponement Committee for the season:— Mrs Nelson, Mrs Sonntag, and Miss Sargeant. Re the seven-a-side tournament to bo held on June 3, it was decided that all entries should be in the hands of the secretary not Inter than Saturday, May 21.
