CELEBRATIONS UNUSUALLY QUIET NO SERIOUS TROUBLE pres* Association- By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, May 1. The traditional May Day celebrations were held throughout the Western Hemisphere with unusual quiet. Although demonstrations were held in many cities in South and Central America, and in the United States there have as yet been no reports of serious trouble.
