DEVINNEY.—On May 3rd, 1932, at the residence of his son-in-law (Mr E. Storey), 48 Bradshaw street, Dunedin South, George Marshall, beloved husband of the late Mary Lament Devinney (late of Naseby); aged 83 years. “At rest.”—Private interment from the above residence To-morrow (Wednesday), the 4th inst., at 1 p.m., for Balolutha, arriving at the Cemetery about 3 p.m.—R. M'Lean and Son, undertakers. ESSEX.—On the 2nd May, at her residence, 40 Main road, N.E.V., Dunedin, m her 82nd year, Mary Ann, dearly beloved wife of the late Charles Essex and mother of Charles W. and Edward G. Essex, Mrs H. P. Bryant, Mrs J. Seymour, and Mrs J. C. Bates. "At rest.” Deeply regretted. Private interment. LAIDLAW.—On May 2. 1932 (suddenly), at his residence, 28 Arawa street, Anderson’s Bay, Samuel Strang, youngest son of the late John and Margaret Laidlaw, of Woodlands.—The Funeral will leave the residence on Wednesday, 4th inst., at 2.30 p.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston, undertakers.
