"COME TO DUNEDIN WEEK"
At a meeting held yesterday in connection with tho “ Como to Dunedin Week ” it was unanimously agreed that an appeal be made to all retail shopkeepers whoso business premises are situated within the proposed illuminated and decorated area to contribute a minimum sum of 5s each towards the preliminary expenses of the movement. As one of the main objects of the week is to bring visitors to the city and to stimulate trade generally, it was felt that the response to this appeal would be a generous one. Black) presided, and after discussion it was decided to hold an evening dress and poster ball in the Town Hall on June 2.
