DESIRE FOR RESUMPTION OF CONVERSATIONS Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. GENEVA, April 29. A communique announces that the chief American, British, French, German, and Italian .delegates, under the chairmanship of Mr Ramsay MacDonaid, agreed that it was a matter of urgency that the conversations which were proceeding with promise of t good results wbep they were unavoidably interrupted by M. Tardieu’s inability to return to Geneva, should be resumed at the earliest possible date within a fortnight. SATISFACTION IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 1. (Received May 2, at 11 a.m.) Satisfaction is felt hero at the decision announced at Geneva that the promising conversations, which were interrupted bv M. Tardicu’s illness, will be resumed at the earliest possible moment. The announcement has considerably relieved the disappointment felt by the unavoidable postponement of the talks arranged for the week-end. The date of their resumption will be announced in a day or two.
