The postal authorities advise that tho Maunganui, which left Sydney for Wellington on Friday, has nineteen bags of mail and eight parcel receptacles for Dunedin. The mail is due at the local office on Wednesday evening. Dr Vcre Poliss, Ph.D., tho English lecturer, delivered another of her inspiring addresses last evening in the Y.W.C.A. assembly hall. Dr Poliss dealt with tho law of vibration. The largo panorama of Nature vibrates together through sound, colour, number, and form. All Nature produces sound; colour plays a great part in foundation of character. Dr Poliss at a later date will deliver an address on ‘ Numbers.’
