PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES [From Odk Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON., April 18. While disorders arc not anticipated in Wellington, the authorities have left nothing to chance and a most complete organisation has been perfected which can be called coon co deal with the slightest trouble at a moment’s notice. Private citizens are co-operating with die Government, and the authorities are perfectly satisfied with the precactionaiy measures that have bean taken. Yesterday's meeting of the unemployed in tiie Basin I’eservo was a complete failure, only about 300 men being in attendance. The proceedings were orderly, and nothing in the nature of a demonstration was attempted A voluntary parade of Territorial units associated with the dedication of the citizens' war memorial was one of the most impressive sights seen in Wellington for" years and evoked universal admiration.
