PRISON RIOT
GUARDS ATTACKED ONE CONVICT KILLED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. WINNIPEG, April 16. One convict was killed _ and two othci’S were wounded in a prison riot at Stoney Mountain Penitentiary. Thomas Jones and William Gorda, bank robbers, attacked two guards in the prison yard with stone hammers. The guards fired, wounding both the prisoners. A bullet ricochetted, killing Mike Bihun, a motor car thief, who was taking no part in the riot.
